Kirksey Funeral Home has served Morganton families since its founding in 1905 by William Kirksey as Kirksey and Company Hardware, which provided the hardware needed for families to construct their own caskets. Recognizing a need for complete funeral services, William also operated an ambulance service.

Gone are the days of the ambulance service but the staff of Kirksey Funeral Home remains committed to serving the families of Morganton, Burke County and the surrounding areas who have trusted their families to our care for over 100 years.
